  Stayed two nights in August and had a great time. I had a campsite with water and electrical. The campsite was large enough for my big tent and a kitchen tent so I didn't feel cramped. The bathrooms were nice and the staff were friendly the couple of times I talked to them.

  This has to be the best Municipality run village and campground in the province. Houses and cottages on their own plots with some of them for seasonal rent. Services for the lakeside community are varied if a little sparse. Personal transport is a must and golf carts and ATVs are popular for local travel. Go there for the beaches and the beautiful lake views. Bring your children and your floating craft, with a picnic and a will to enjoy a real gem of a beach location.

  The beach is quite rocky, so keep that in mind if your planning on spending a lot of time lying in the beach. Bring a blanket. The water is clean and clear. You can walk out quite a ways before it gets really deep which is nice for smaller kids playing in the water.

  This amazing Manitoba Secret! I never heard of Steep rock mb until last year when my hunting buddy showed me pictures. Instantly know I had to take a trip. This place is incredible. Friendly helpful locals lots of amazing fishing and swimming and hiking and camping. Boat rentals and a great atmosphere and great views. Clean clear water and great fishing. I'll be back for sure!

  Nice campgrounds, lots of space at my site for tents. There is a small store with some basic foods, very nice and friendly staff. I thought the site was expensive for tent camping... and you had to pay extra for firewood. Beach is quite rocky, and the water stays shallow for a long ways away from shore. The water is fairly clean. Overall an enjoyable stay.
